2020 has been a very challenging year, and BREAST has not had the opportunity to engage with radiologists and registrars at our normal national conference workshops. However, we are now in a position to run a limited places NSW/ACT BREAST workshop at the University of Sydney, Darlington Campus. This event has met the USYD’s COVID Safety Protocol for running small events, and numbers will be limited, physical distancing observed, and all equipment will be cleaned thoroughly before each session.
At this workshop, we will launch a new test set (“The NT Test Set), curated by our Clinical Director, Dr Natacha Borecky using cases from NT BreastScreen.
The plan is to have three days in November with sessions you can book in with the time suits you most. We propose for Sunday to be a special registrar day, with interactive tutorials given by Dr Borecky in small groups to assist junior radiologists to upskill their mammography reading skills.
